Former Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley will continue to play at the home of the Cocktail Party.

This week, the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Conley’s option for the 2020 season. The former third-round pick from the 2015 NFL Draft spent his first four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and signed with Jacksonville in March 2019. The change of scenery worked well for Conley, who set a career-high for receptions (47), receiving yards (775) and receiving average (16.5) in his first season with the Jaguars. Conley appeared in all 16 games (starting 14) of the 2019 season, catching five TD passes.

Conley’s 2019 season highlights included a 70-yard TD reception in a victory against the Jets, the Jaguars’ longest TD of the 2019 season, two TDs in the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 15 win at Oakland, including the game-winning score from with 0:31 left in the game.

Having now completed five NFL seasons, Conley has totaled 151 career receptions for 2,013 yards and 11 TDs.

Conley played at UGA from 2011-14, catching 76 passes for 1,938 yards and 20 touchdowns.
