The Georgia Bulldogs have been dominating the recruiting trails under head coach Kirby Smart.

In 2018, the Dawgs brought in the No. 1 class in the nation, and as things sit on Friday evening, they also have the No. 1 2019 class.

On Friday, Smart joined 680 The Fan and explained what he thinks makes him such a good recruiter. Smart deflected the attention off himself and said Georgia recruits itself (via 247Sports):

“It is really simple,” Smart said. “If you had a product put in the heart of the best five-hour radius of all football players. And you have a great education – top 15 public school. And you have a chance to play in the SEC, the best conference in the country – you can play for championships, which we did last year. Why wouldn’t you come?”

Success on the field has something to do with it, too, as the Dawgs made it to the National Championship Game last season.

If these highly rated recruits continue to pile up the wins for Georgia, it’s safe to say Smart will continue to land some of the nation’s elite high school talent.
