Kirby Smart had to have liked what he saw from his Georgia team in their first appearance in the SEC Championship Game under his watch. Up 10-7 on Auburn heading into the break, the Bulldogs will also receive the ball first in the second half with the momentum in the game all on the Dawgs’ side.

Before heading into the locker room for halftime, Smart caught up with CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce to share his thoughts on the game.

On all the penalties being called against Georgia:

“We are being aggressive,” Smart said. “Those aren’t undisciplined penalties those are aggressive penalties. We have to do a better job of executing and doing what we are coached to do.”

What will set you apart in the second half?

“Again, it comes down to keeping your composure and playing with physicality,” he continued “That’s what we are trying to do.”
