Georgia fans never would have thought Stetson Bennett IV would be their starting quarterback in 2020 a few short months ago.

However, that’s where we are now, and Bennett has guided the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record and is fresh off a strong performance in a 27-6 win over Auburn.

On Wednesday, coach Kirby Smart discussed the former walk-on quarterback, naming the aspect of his game he’s been most impressed with.

“His composure,” Smart said. “He’s very composed, I would call him a vet in terms of practice reps and quantity of work. He just hasn’t had as many SEC live reps.”

Bennett seems to be the guy at Georgia for now, so we’ll see if he can continue guiding the Dawgs to wins.

He’ll need to remain composed, as some tough tests loom large over the coming weeks.
