Georgia took down Notre Dame 23-17 in one of the most highly anticipated games of the 2019 season on Saturday.

It was a hard-fought game, and the atmosphere of Sanford Stadium certainly matched the intensity of the battle on the field.

As you can see at the start of the video below, shared on YouTube by Bulldawg Illustrated, coach Kirby Smart loved the atmosphere created by Bulldog fans:

“What an incredible atmosphere,” he said. “And it seems like we say the same thing over and over each time we come in here, but our fans are, by far, the best in the country. This is why you come to UGA. You get an opportunity to play in an atmosphere like that and in an environment like that — it was really incredible.”

Georgia doesn’t have many big home games left on the schedule, but Mizzou comes to town on Nov. 9 and Texas A&M visits on Nov. 23.
