On Tuesday afternoon, it was reported that Georgia RB Sony Michel was limited at practice, as he was not able to go through individual drills.

Michel left Saturday’s victory over Notre Dame late with what appeared to be an ankle injury, so it’s no surprise the Bulldogs were being cautious with him.

However, after practice, coach Kirby Smart said he’s not ready to rule the senior running back out for Saturday’s game against Samford just yet:

Michel was a big reason the Bulldogs pulled off a 20-19 win at Notre Dame on Saturday, rushing 13 times for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Though Georgia may not need the talented senior this weekend against Samford, a Week 4 matchup with Mississippi State looms large.
