Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are off to an impressive 5-0 start. They’ve been absolutely dominant in all aspects of the game.

But, if there’s one cause for concern, it’s the health of star QB JT Daniels. Daniels has now missed 2 games this year — against UAB and this past Saturday against Arkansas.

On Monday, Smart spoke with media members, providing an update on Daniels’ health. Smart said Daniels was doing everything but throwing at this point:

“As far as JT, he’s not going to do anything today,” Smart said. “He’s practicing, but he’s doing everything but throwing and then we’ll see how it goes day to day. Biggest thing is he’s got to rest and recover and try to heal. We’re very hopeful he’ll be able to go Tuesday, Wednesday and try to throw like he was able to do last week some days, but he’s not going to do much today in terms of throwing. There’s a lot more to quarterbacking than just throwing the ball. He does a lot of that stuff well.”

Going on the road to Jordan-Hare Stadium is no easy task, but that’s what the Bulldogs will be doing on Saturday afternoon.

Will Daniels be able to play? Or will Stetson Bennett IV get another start? We’ll see how this week progresses.
