What Kirby Smart said after Georgia's blowout 41-0 win over Tennessee
Georgia put the rest of the SEC on alert on Saturday afternoon, going into Neyland Stadium and handing the Tennessee Volunteers a historic 41-0 home loss.
The No. 7 Bulldogs will likely rise in the rankings next week, as USC lost to Washington State, but they also made very clear who the best team in the SEC East is this season.
After a dominating rushing performance and stifling defensive play, coach Kirby Smart was all smiles talking about his 5-0 team.
Here’s what the second-year coach had to say about Saturday’s lopsided victory:
Kirby Smart: "If you form good habits, good habits will start to form you."

On improving every week (via Macon.com):
“We’re trying to improve. We’re starting to see how good we can be but we can’t believe in the hype. They have to stay focused and stay working. That’s the challenge our coaching staff and organization has, to keep this team focused. That’s the hardest thing to do in college football.”
On making adjustments to the defense at halftime:
Kirby Smart on Mel Tucker's D: "At halftime, I didn't need to go over and see them. They had it under control. There were no adjustments."

Smart also had his own comment after the game, taking to Twitter to send a simple message to Dawg fans everywhere:
Go Dawgs!
