Georgia appears well on the way to returning to glory under second-year head coach Kirby Smart. The latest recruiting class was stacked with talent and the roster is loaded with potential playmakers heading into the 2017 campaign. The price for the current program was a bit steep, though, considering one of the most respected men in college football had to leave the program to make way for Smart.

Does former UGA coach Mark Richt hold any grudges? It should come as no surprise that he absolutely does not.

According to ESPN SEC writer Chris Low, the current Miami head coach is simply thankful for his lengthy career in beautiful Athens.

In his 15 years with Georgia, Richt led the Bulldogs to a stellar 154-55 record, two SEC championships, and five SEC East division championships. Now entering his second season with Miami, Richt led the Hurricanes to a 9-4 record in his first season.
