What a wild few months it has been for Isaiah Wilson.

It’s incredibly rare for a first-round pick to be out of a job less than one year removed from his selection in the NFL Draft but that’s where Wilson finds himself following a turbulent few months for the former Bulldog.

If you have missed any of the story, Wilson issued his feelings on social media — saying he was “done” with the Titans — after Tennessee GM Jon Robinson called out the rookie for his lack of desire to prove he was ready for professional football. The Titans later traded Wilson to Miami for a swap of seventh-round picks but the offensive lineman lasted all of three days with the Dolphins.

Miami quickly cut Wilson after he reportedly was late or failed to show up to several activities, including his physical and team workouts. While this was going on, Wilson posted videos of himself dancing on top of his car on social media.

Now comes word that Wilson was arrested the same week Tennessee lost to the Ravens during last season’s NFL playoffs.

According to John Glennon of Broadway Sports Media, Wilson was arrested at gunpoint in Georgia and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense; speeding in a construction zone; reckless driving; marijuana possession of less than one ounce; possession and use of drug-related objects; and reckless conduct.

This incident occurred on Jan. 7 in Barrow County, Ga., which is 25 miles northwest of Athens. Wilson was released from custody on Jan. 8.

The Titans lost to the Ravens, ending the team’s season, on Jan. 10.
