The Cleveland Browns finally won a game earlier this season, but still got off to a slow 2-6-1 start this year.

However, following an impressive 17-16 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday night, the Browns are 6-7-1 and seem to be having a ton of fun.

After the game, rookie RB Nick Chubb — a former Georgia star — said it’s been a lot of fun playing for the Browns in recent weeks (via SiriusXM):

“We definitely worked for it,” the rookie running back told Zig Fracassi and Brad Hopkins on SiriusXM NFL Radio after the Browns’ 17-16 victory against the Denver Broncos. “Dating way back to OTAs and camp, we prepared for games like this and it’s finally starting to pay off for us.

“I think just our energy has shifted into a better place. The guys are all buying in. We all we all love playing with each other. We love the people coaching us. I think everyone’s just bought into the new system and we’re playing hard for each other.”

Chubb ran for 100 yards on 20 carries on Saturday night. For the season, he has 860 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, to go with two scores as a receiver.

The Browns are a lot of fun to watch, and with two games remaining, their playoff hopes are still alive (though they are quite slim).
