Football players sometimes need to polish their acting skills to get a call in their favor. Georgia OT Isaiah Wilson has just about perfected the flop to draw a false start penalty.

That was the case late in the first half on Saturday against Florida on a third down and 10 play when Georgia had the ball on the Florida 25-yard line.

Wilson lined up against Florida DE Jabari Zuniga, and once Zuniga jumped offsides, Wilson didn’t want to take any chances and quickly flopped on his back to make sure the penalty was called. In fact, that was his explanation on Twitter.

“I saw five yards but I wanted the ref to see it too,” Wilson tweeted.

Wilson is not your average offensive lineman. The redshirt sophomore from Brooklyn, New York is listed at 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds. That’s a lot of weight to flip on a dime.

The play was part of a seven-play scoring drive for Georgia in the 24-17 victory. The Bulldogs got a 37-yard field goal from Rodrigo Blankenship with 14 seconds remaining in the half on that drive.
