New Jackson State coach Deion Sanders has lured another player from an SEC program, this time it happened in recruiting.

CB De’Jahn “Nugget” Warren, the nation’s No. 1-ranked JUCO recruit, announced that he’s signing with Sanders and Jackson State instead of Georgia. He’d been committed to Georgia since August, but decommitted from the Bulldogs on Wednesday. He’s listed at 6-feet and 175 pounds.

Warren is from Hyattsville, Maryland and played at Lackawanna C.C. He had a reported 32 offers, and Penn State was also in the mix for his services, along with other offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Oklahoma.

Also in the Jackson State recruiting class is Sanders’ son Shedeur Sanders, a pro-style quarterback, and he landed a transfer from another son, Shilo, a defensive back from South Carolina.

Sanders also received transfers from former Missouri linebacker Aubrey Miller and Mississippi State cornerback Javorrius Selmon.

It’s safe to say Sanders has already made a splash at Jackson State.
