Georgia just received big news from 2018 quarterback signee Justin Fields.

The 5-star, dual-threat QB announced that he will be enrolling in college early. In fact, he did just that on Friday.

As of Thursday night’s Under Armour All-America Game, Fields was reportedly still unsure whether or not he would enroll early — according to UGASports.com.

Fields, a Kennesaw, Ga. native (Harrison High School), officially signed with the Bulldogs on Dec. 20 — Day 1 of the inaugural Early Signing Period. He had been committed since last October.

Fields is rated as the nation’s No. 1 dual-threat QB, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s also the nation’s No. 2 overall player.

Now officially on the roster, Fields likely will be able to immediately push quarterbacks Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason in the off-season. He’s at least got the talent to move up the depth chart in a hurry.
