Former Georgia WR Jeremiah Holloman has reportedly found a new home.

Eric Henry, a writer and podcast host for SB Nation, reported this week that “barring any unforseen circumstances,” Holloman is heading to Florida International. The Panthers are coached by former Miami Hurricanes head coach Butch Davis. If Holloman heads to FIU, he won’t be the only former SEC player on the team. Davis added two former Arkansas players (LB Alexy Jean-Baptiste and RB Maleek Williams) to the FIU roster via transfer.

Holloman was dismissed from Georgia this offseason after an investigation into a 2018 assault accusation.

From the report of Holloman’s dismissal:

The victim reported arguing with Holloman after the 2018 G-Day Game. She then called Hollman’s brother to pick her up from his dorm room located in Rooker Hall.

While waiting for Holloman’s brother to arrive, the victim reported Holloman began to choke her.

“(The victim) stated that (the brother) walked in at this point and pulled the suspect (Holloman) off her,” according to the report. “(The victim) stated she got behind (the brother) for protection. (The victim) stated the suspect (Holloman) then reached over (the brother) and punched her in the face.”

Per the report, Holloman admitted to hitting the female, “Yeah, after she started hitting me, I hit her back.”

The former 4-star class of 2017 recruit played in 2018, catching 24 passes for 418 yards and five touchdowns. Henry notes that Holloman will likely sit out the 2019 season.
