Both Georgia quarterbacks saw action in its season-opening victory over North Carolina on Saturday and now, that has carried over to practice. According to macon.com, after Greyson Lambert took first-team snaps in practice on Monday and Tuesday, it was Jacob Eason who was seen with the first-team on Wednesday.

Against North Carolina, both quarterbacks played well and split time fairly evenly, but Eason out-performed Lambert statistically, as the freshman completed 8-of-12 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. Lambert, the senior and game’s starter, completed 5-of-8 for 54 yards.

For Week 2, the No. 9-ranked Bulldogs take on Nicholls State. Georgia, the much more talented team, may put both quarterbacks on display once again, trying to get a feel for who the signal caller should be going forward.

The schedule will only get more difficult going forward for the Bulldogs, and if they want the best chance possible at taking down SEC foes like No. 17-ranked Tennessee and potentially No. 1-ranked Alabama, they need to get the quarterback situation straightened out.
