Report: Georgia assistant coach will leave for job at Florida International

A Georgia offensive assistant coach will leave for a better position at Florida International University, according to reports.

Kevin Beard, a former Miami wide receiver, spent 2016 as a member of the Bulldogs’ offensive support staff. He’ll coach the receivers for the Golden Panthers in 2017:

Source confirms Kevin Beard, former Miami WR (and WR coach in 2015), will be FIU's WR coach. Beard spent last year at Georgia.

According to DawgNation.com, Beard was one of Georgia’s six quality control staffers for the offense.
