It appears the young man that robbed Roquan Smith has turned himself into local authorities in Athens.

Smith recently had several of his belongings stolen from his car, presumably in the middle of the night, in Athens. Among the items stolen: his Georgia football helmet, several of his jerseys, awards and personal items. The former UGA linebacker cannot say for certain whether he locked his doors or not prior to the theft.

According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, 20-year-old Georgia student Lane Shane Durham turned himself into the Athens-Clarke County Police Thursday evening following the theft. According to Athens-Clarke County arrest records, the suspect’s name is listed as Landyn Shane Durham.

He is listed as a white male and has been charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit theft or felony. He faces a total of three felony charges and has already posted bond per the Athens-Clarke County Police.

All of Smith’s stolen items have been returned to him after local police tracked down the stolen goods.
