Former Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith made the first tackle of the NFL season Thursday night. Then, he made the next tackle, too.

The Chicago Bears opened up against the Green Bay Packers Thursday night, and Smith started 2019 off with two athletic plays.

First, the Packers started the game off with a little pitch play, and Smith burst through the line for the tackle.

The very next play Smith sniffed out the Packers’ screen play, and he made a very athletic tackle on the ball carrier.

The Bears drafted Smith with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in 16 games last year and made 89 tackles and five sacks.
