‘The Georgia Bulldogs were caught off-guard by an Alabama backup quarterback for a second-straight season, watching as Jalen Hurts led the Tide to a come-from-behind victory in the SEC title game.

After Tua Tagovailoa’s heroics in last year’s National Championship Game, you’d think the Dawgs would be more prepared this time around.

However, on Wednesday, star Georgia DB Deandre Baker admitted that the Bulldogs weren’t really prepared for Hurts to enter the game:

“We wasn’t really prepared for him,” Baker admits. “We was pretty focused on Tua. But Tua got hurt and he came in and won the game. Last year, he led the team all the way to the national championship, so I knew he could do it.”

Is the third time the charm? We’ll see if the Bulldogs are ready for the Tide if they meet up next season.
