Terry Godwin has been relatively quiet this season for Georgia with just four catches for 46 yards entering Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.

But after Georgia fell behind to the Commodores, Godwin scored the longest Georgia touchdown of the season when he hauled in a 75-yard catch from Jake Fromm. The wide receiver appeared to be stopped at the 10-yard line, but fought off two defenders to reach the end zone with 10:15 left in the first quarter.

Godwin is one of the more experienced players on the team, and him offering a deep threat would do wonders to open up the Bulldogs’ offense.

The play revealed an early glimpse into Georgia’s game plan against Vanderbilt as the Bulldogs called passes on the first five plays of the game.
