If you watched Georgia’s 43-29 win over Mizzou on Saturday, you can understand why coach Kirby Smart wasn’t too happy during or after the game.

Though the No. 2 Bulldogs rolled to a 4-0 start, this game featured a lot of mistakes and penalties — the kinds that drive coaches crazy.

Still, a win is a win, and the Bulldogs will return to Athens happy to be undefeated.

Here’s what Smart said following the game:

On lack of physicality and mental mistakes:

  • “We didn’t play with discipline, composure, or really that much physicality when you look at the run game for us and stopping the run defensively.”

On lack of discipline:

  • “We didn’t play with the discipline we need to play with, and I’m responsible for that. We’ll get it fixed.”

On injuries:

  • “We had a lot of guys beat up coming into the game. Monty (Rice) has an MCL that’s been bothering him since the last game. Andrew (Thomas) tried to go. Tyler Simmons is injured. Tyson (Campbell) ended up having a bit of a stomach bug. He was throwing up. We looked at his shoulder, but his shoulder was fine.”

On what this win says:

  • “I don’t know what it says. It says we can handle some adversity on the road. We were challenged and we responded well. … Missouri’s a good football team. They’ve won nine out of 10 games. I think we’ll look back on this game and say they’ve got a pretty good team here.”

On halftime message:

  • “Wake up. Play with better discipline, better composure.”
