4-star 2019 DB Keontra Smith had been committed to the Kentucky Wildcats since June of 2017, providing a huge piece for Mark Stoops’ recruiting class.

However, on Sunday, he decided to change his mind, and will now stay in his native Florida to play collegiately.

According to a post on his Twitter page, Smith will now attend the University of Miami, as you can see in the tweet below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Smith is the No. 13 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 35 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

Without him, Kentucky’s recruiting class now has three members and ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 42 nationally, per 247Sports.
