Kentucky has another major recruiting target for the 2019 recruiting class.

5-star wing Johnny Juzang (Studio City, California) announced on his personal Instagram page that he was reclassifying from 2020 to 2019.

“First off, I want to thank everyone who’s helped me and been there for me up to this point,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’ve had an amazing experience in high school, and wouldn’t have had it any other way. I’d like to thank Harvard Westlake: the coaches, the trainers, the teachers, and the staff for making my 3 years so special. I also want to thank Compton Magic for all they’ve done for me in my journey thus far. And of course, I want to say thank you to my family and friends who support me no matter what. With that being said, I will be reclassifying to the class of 2019 and attending college this fall.”

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound Juzang is scheduled to visit Kentucky on April 29. John Calipari offered him a scholarship during an in-home visit Friday. In addition to Kentucky, Juzang is also interested in Virginia and Villanova.

Currently for the class of 2020, Juzang is rated a 5-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 6 overall shooting forward and the state of California’s no. 5 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Updated rankings for the class of 2019 will include Juzang’s reclassification.
