College basketball fans looking for an appetizer before the SEC Championship Game in football have gotten their wish.

The 2020 CBS Sports Classic game between Kentucky and UCLA will tip off at about 4:15 p.m. ET on Dec. 19 on CBS from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Kentucky announced. The football championship game is set to be played later that night from Atlanta.

That shapes up to be a full day of college sports coverage starting with a noon ET game on CBS, with potential preseason top-five teams Gonzaga and Iowa facing off in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This will mark the seventh straight season of the CBS Sports Classic but the first one in Cleveland. Previous stops included Chicago (2014, 2018), Brooklyn (2015), Las Vegas (2016, 2019) and New Orleans (2017).

North Carolina and Ohio State will play first in Cleveland tipoff slated for 2 p.m. ET.

Fans being allowed in the arena is still to be determined.

For the Wildcats, it is the second confirmed date and location for the revised 2020-21 Kentucky men’s basketball schedule. UK has not released its new 2020-21 slate after the NCAA Division I Council approved moving the first contest date in Division I men’s basketball to Nov. 25. Last week, UK learned it would play Texas in Rupp Arena on Jan. 30 in the annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
