Kentucky big man Nick Richards took a huge step forward this season — his junior year with the Wildcats. In fact, for a while, he was even the frontrunner for the SEC Player of the Year award.

That award eventually went to teammate Immanuel Quickley, but it was still an outstanding season for Richards.

Now, according to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog, Richards is expected to enter his name in the 2020 NBA Draft pool.

It is unclear whether Richards will retain his college eligibility during the pre-draft process or hire an agent.

Richards appeared in 31 games for Kentucky this past season, starting 30. He averaged 14.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per contest.
