As the coaching rumors continue to swirl, both Kentucky coordinators — OC Eddie Gran and DC Matt House — are now in the mix.

Both of the coordinators are in demand after a great 9-3 regular season from the Wildcats, and it’ll be interesting to see what they do this offseason.

According to FootballScoop.com, Gran is in the mix at Charlotte, now that it appears James Madison coach Mike Houston is eyeing East Carolina:

James Madison plays at Colgate tomorrow afternoon. Mike Houston has a lot on his mind, but this search isn’t standing still. Prior to offering the job to Houston, sources told FootballScoop Charlotte had also evaluated Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and Alabama co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Josh Gattis.

House is also in the mix for a Group of 5 job, with FootballScoop.com reporting that Central Michigan is looking at him, among others:

Other names we continue to hear connected to the search are Michigan State offensive line coach Mark Staten, Kentucky defensive coordinator Matt House (another Stoops connection, although this time through Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops), as well as some whispers that Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurchich may also be getting some consideration.

It’s shaping up to be an interesting offseason in Lexington, and we’ll see if Stoops can hang on to his coordinators amid this year’s coaching carousel.
