After starting the season with two straight wins, Kentucky has lost two in a row to SEC rivals. But the Wildcats will have a chance to get their season back on track this weekend.

On Saturday, Kentucky travels to South Carolina for its second straight road game against a conference opponent. The Wildcats lost at home to No. 9 Florida on Sept. 14, then dropped a road contest at Mississippi State last weekend.

Those losses came after Kentucky opened the year with non-conference wins over Toledo and Eastern Michigan.

South Carolina is also winless in SEC play after dropping back-to-back games against Alabama and Missouri.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Kentucky released a thrilling hype video for the matchup on Twitter on Friday:

Although Kentucky trails in the all-time series against South Carolina, 17-12-1, the Wildcats have won five straight matchups against the Gamecocks. South Carolina hasn’t beat Kentucky since 2013 and it hasn’t won in Lexington since 2012.

The Wildcats have a difficult road matchup at No. 3 Georgia on Oct. 19, so they will likely need to win the next two weeks against South Carolina and Arkansas in order for them to have a strong season.

Kentucky and South Carolina are set to kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
