Kentucky is working to revamp its secondary ahead of the 2022 football season. Now that spring practices are over, the coaching staff has turned its attention to the portal once again.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats managed to score the commitment of a transferring defensive back from the Division II ranks.

Jordan Robinson had been committed to Appalachian State after starting his career at Livingstone College in North Carolina, but on Wednesday, he took to Twitter to reveal he was heading to Lexington instead:

Robinson had 13 tackles, a pass breakup and an interception last season. He’ll join a secondary that has some open spots to fill.

We’ll see what sort of role he carves out for himself under coach Mark Stoops.
