So, apparently it is ok for coaches to grab officials when they are mad but it’s not ok for players to lightly push their hands away when they’re not mad.

That seems fair, right?

Miami head coach Mark Richt probably wasn’t planning to hurt any of the refs during Saturday night’s Orange Bowl, but his anger was obvious when he berated and grabbed one.

The official Kentucky Football account had a hilarious reaction on Twitter:

In case you missed Friday’s Music City Bowl in Nashville, Wildcats running back Benny Snell, Jr. was ejected on a ridiculous call for “shoving” an official’s hands away after the ref tried to help him up.

If you played videos of Richt and Snell’s incidents side-by-side on a loop and showed it to 1,000 people, about 999 of them would probably tell you what Richt did was much more deserving of an ejection.

And that’s nothing against the former Georgia coach, it’s just that Snell’s ejection was so egregious.

Props to @UKFootball for hilariously calling out the hypocrisy.
