After going the entire 2018 recruiting cycle without landing a commitment from an in-state player, the Wildcats got one on Monday night.

The commitment came from 2019 3-star OL Eli Cox, who attends West Jessamine High School.

As you can see in the Twitter post below, Cox says he is 100-percent committed to heading to Lexington next fall:

According to 247Sports, Cox is the No. 47 guard in the class of 2019 and the No. 14 overall recruit from the state of Kentucky.

The Wildcats now have four players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 40 nationally and No. 11 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
