After losing 4-star DB Keontra Smith over the weekend (the best player in their class), the Kentucky Wildcats have made a pair of additions to their 2019 recruiting class.

On Monday night, 3-star 2019 QB Nik Scalzo pledged his allegiance to coach Mark Stoops and his staff, announcing his commitment to Kentucky.

As you can see below, Scalzo, a 5-11, 185-pound quarterback out of Florida, announced his decision via Twitter:

According to the 247Sports composite, Scalzo is the No. 16 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2019 and the No. 102 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

Kentucky now has five players in its 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 42 nationally, per 247Sports.
