Kentucky is off to an impressive start in 2021, having won each of its first 3 games. Not only that, but the Wildcats have already notched a strong SEC victory, having defeated Missouri in Week 2.

Now, Kentucky is heading on the road for its first conference away game of the season. And it’s a strong possibility that the Wildcats will keep their hot start going, as they’re taking on South Carolina.

The Gamecocks are 2-1, but their pair of wins came against Eastern Illinois and East Carolina, neither of which is that strong of an opponent. They suffered their first loss last week, when they fell at Georgia in their SEC opener.

So, it could be another exciting week for Kentucky fans. For those who need to get even more amped up, the Wildcats released a hype video for the matchup on Twitter on Friday:

Kentucky is looking to beat South Carolina for the second year in a row. In 2020, the Wildcats hosted the Gamecocks and notched a 41-18 win last Dec. 5. Kentucky trails in the all-time series, 18-13-1, but it’s won 6 of the past 7 meetings between the schools.

The Wildcats and Gamecocks will kick off on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
