Incoming Kentucky freshman OT Kenneth Horsey recently had an open-heart surgery — a scary procedure for anyone to undergo.

Fortunately, the Florida native made it through the procedure successfully and is now at home resting.

Horsey tweeted on Wednesday evening that he appreciates the thoughts and prayers he has received from Kentucky fans during this ordeal:

According to the 247Sports composite, Horsey is the No. 53 offensive guard in the class of 2018 and the No. 202 overall prospect from the state of Florida.

Whether or not Horsey will be able to play this fall remains to be seen, but for now, the good news is that the surgery was successful.
