Kentucky TE C.J. Conrad battled some injuries this year, but still managed to be effective when he played.

In seven games, he recorded 16 catches for 286 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 17.9 yards per reception for the Wildcats.

However, he still needs to make some improvements before he heads off to the NFL, so he announced on Saturday that he’d be returning to Kentucky for his senior season:

Conrad said his late-season injury made his decision much easier, and it is definitely the right decision for the Kentucky tight end.

Even though the Wildcats will be moving on to a new quarterback after Stephen Johnson graduates this offseason, Conrad has the potential to have a big year for Kentucky in 2018.

If he does, then he just might be able to put himself on NFL radars heading into the 2019 NFL Draft.
