Rhyne Howard, Kentucky star, chosen No. 1 overall in 2022 WNBA Draft
Rhyne Howard has been a star at Kentucky for the past 4 years, leading the Wildcats to an SEC Tournament title in the 2021-22 season.
Now, she’s heading to the pro ranks, and she’s doing so in style. On Monday night, she was chosen No. 1 overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
As you can see below, Howard went No. 1 to the Atlanta Dream, where she’ll team up with last year’s first-round pick Aari McDonald:

She’ll have her work cut out for her helping the Dream turn things around, as the team went 8-24 during the 2021 season.
