The Kentucky Wildcats were thrilled last year when former USC OL E.J. Price decided to transfer to the program.

However, after sitting out all of 2017, it was reported a few days ago that Price was leaving the Wildcats, too.

Now, though, it appears he’s had a change of heart, as coach Mark Stoops said on Saturday that Price was back with the team. He added that Price didn’t handle whatever he was going through in a great way, but he is again on the practice field:

Keeping Price on the field will be key for the Wildcats, especially since teaming him with star RB Benny Snell Jr. will make Kentucky’s rushing attack a formidable one.

Though it seems as if there may be some confusion and tension between Price and the coaching staff, he’s practicing with the team again and has a very real chance of earning a starting spot this fall.
