Terry Wilson may be done for the season but that doesn’t mean Mark Stoops program is ready to call it a season.

While Wilson has been lost for the season due to injury, Kentucky is thankful to have a quarterback to hand over the keys to the offense that has starting experience at the FBS level in Sawyer Smith. Kentucky may need Smith to have a career performance Saturday night as his first start will be against a top-10 ranked Florida team in Lexington.

Just because Wilson is out, doesn’t mean he is down, however, as Kentucky’s starting quarterback wanted to share his appreciation for all the fans of Big Blue Nation that have reached out to him following the tough injury he suffered last weekend.

“Hey BBN, it’s Terry Touchdown checking in. I appreciate all the support you guys have been, you know, showing me. It means a lot, it’s gonna it’s gonna stick with me through this process,” Wilson says in the video below. “BBN just stay loyal to this team. I believe in this team a lot and I know you guys do as well. We need you guys to show up every week just to show that support and be loud, every game. I love you guys go Big Blue!

Kentucky is set to host Florida at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
