Benny Snell is making the leap to the NFL.

But before that, the star running back will suit up for Kentucky one more time.

Snell has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft but will play in the the Wildcats’ Citrus Bowl matchup against Penn State, he announced via Twitter on Friday. He picked a great way to do it, setting his message to Big Blue Nation over an awesome highlight reel from his record-breaking Kentucky career.

Snell leaves Lexington as perhaps the most accomplished running back in program history, having topped 1,000 rushing yards in all three of his seasons there. The outgoing junior holds Wildcats records for single-season and career rushing touchdowns and is tied for the single-game touchdown record.

His contributions this season helped Kentucky finally break its long losing streak against Florida and vault into the AP Top 25 for the first time in more than a decade. Snell, who has rushed 711 times for 3,754 yards and 46 scores, also generated some Heisman Trophy buzz in the middle of the year.

Snell has raised his draft stock with each passing year, but before he enters the NFL, he wants to help No. 14 Kentucky defeat No. 12 Penn State in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.

“I have unfinished business. Whatever I start, I make sure I finish,” Snell says in the video. “I’ve got one more chance to wear that uniform; bet I make it count.”
