LSU junior quarterback Brandon Harris may have failed to live up to his lofty recruiting hype in his first two seasons but should the light come on in his second season as the team’s starter, the Tigers could be in for a huge year.

Despite all the negative thrown Harris way, he did throw for 2,165 yards, 13 touchdowns and only six interceptions in the Tigers run dominant offense. Perhaps if Les Miles and Cam Cameron would get more creative on first and second down, Harris wouldn’t be forced into throwing on so many third-and-long situations. Plus with talented receivers on the outside, Harris is primed to improve this season.

Just don’t try to sell that to any Ole Miss fans. Especially this one who called Harris out on Twitter, only to have the LSU quarterback respond:

If you come at LSU’s quarterback on Twitter, you’d best be ready to deal with the consequences.
