Colin Cowherd has been impressed with the work Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow has done this year, leading his team to the Super Bowl.

The former LSU star was a legitimate MVP candidate in 2021 in only his second pro season. Now, he’ll have a chance to win his first Super Bowl if he and his teammates can take down the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Beating the Rams to win the Super Bowl in Year 2 of a career? Where have we heard that one before? Oh, right, that’s what the legendary Tom Brady did following the 2001 campaign.

On Monday, FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd said Burrow reminds him of a young Tom Brady:

“It reminds me so much of an early Brady, where he just goes back, sees the field, delivers strikes all over the field — down the seam, outside, drag routes, doesn’t matter — always throws, like Brady, to the right player at the right time,” Cowherd said.

Can Burrow cement his growing legacy with his first Super Bowl ring? We’ll find out on Sunday evening at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles! He’s already the first quarterback taken No. 1 overall to ever lead his team to the Super Bowl in 1 of his first 2 years in the NFL.
