Colin Cowherd rants about all the ways Trevor Lawrence is better than Joe Burrow
LSU QB Joe Burrow led the Tigers to a 15-0 record and a national title. He also set an NCAA record by throwing 60 touchdowns and won the Heisman Trophy.
He then went No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. In the 2021 NFL Draft, Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence (who lost to LSU in the title game) is the likely No. 1 pick at the moment.
On Tuesday, FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd went on a long rant about all the ways Lawrence is a better player and pro prospect than Burrow:
"Trevor Lawrence is bigger, stronger, better arm, bigger hands, and a better athlete. Everything… To say that Joe Burrow beat Trevor Lawrence head-to-head proves anything — Is Nick Foles better than Tom Brady?" — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/6GAqqARCKQ

“Joe Burrow’s a nice quarterback prospect,” Cowherd starts. “He’s not nearly as talented as Justin Fields or, certainly, Trevor Lawrence, the Clemson quarterback. … (Lawrence is) bigger, stronger, better arm, bigger hands, better athlete. Everything.”
Will Lawrence be able to hold off Justin Fields and become a Heisman Trophy winner (and a potential No. 1 overall pick) in 2020? Hopefully we’ll be able to find out this fall.
