Colin Cowherd watched along with the rest of America as former LSU star WR Justin Jefferson, one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, was held to 47 receiving yards in the Minnesota Vikings’ wildcard-round playoff loss to the New York Giants on Sunday.

Jefferson and the Vikings finished 13-4 in the regular season to earn the No. 3 seed in the NFC, but lost to the No. 6 seed Giants 31-24 on Sunday afternoon.

Now, the FOX Sports radio host worries that Jefferson could start to grow restless in Minnesota and could potentially look to move to a team with a better quarterback:

“What I would worry about, Stefon Diggs said ‘Get me outta here,'” Cowherd says in the video. “I’d worry about Justin Jefferson saying, ‘Get me outta here. I don’t wanna waste my career. I’ve got 5 more great years. What’s the point of this?’

“Stefon Diggs just said, ‘Get me to a star quarterback.’ That’s what I worry about, is that (Kirk Cousins) starts to lose the locker room, lose trust of star receivers.”

What does the future hold for the Vikings? After Sunday’s disappointing playoff loss, there will be major questions to answer in Minnesota as the offseason gets underway a bit earlier than expected.
