Ed Orgeron discusses health, expectations for trio of LSU defensive stars
So far this fall camp, LSU star defensive players Grant Delpit, Kristian Fulton and K’Lavon Chaisson have been severely limited.
They’ve started to return to limited work in the past few days, but they were held out of Saturday’s scrimmage.
However, it sounds like coach Ed Orgeron is hopeful all three will be back in a full-time basis this coming week. He said after Saturday’s scrimmage that all three could have played if it was an actual game:
Ed Orgeron expects K'Lavon Chaisson, Grant Delpit and Kristian Fulton to be 100 percent by the season opener, and he said they'll take all the first team reps next week. #LSU

Coach O: If had to play a game today, Delpit, Fulton and Chaisson could have played. Said he expects them to take first-team reps in next week's final scrimmage, which will be basically a dress rehearsal. #LSU

It would be surprising if all three players didn’t suit up in Week 1. For now, though, the Tigers will continue to take it slow.
There’s no rush to get them back on the field at this point, and they’ve all proven talented enough to be able to step in and play at a high level whenever they’re fully healthy.
