LSU cruised to a 45-10 win in its home opener against Chattanooga on Saturday.

The Tigers moved to 2-0 with the victory and have only given up one offensive touchdown thus far in the 2017 season.

Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron was “pleased” with the win, but knows his team has a long way to go.

Here are a few of his post-game comments:

He commented on the Tigers’ excessive amount of penalties in the first half.

Orgeron also noted that the Tigers could be making a change at kicker. He reportedly said LSU went for it on fourth down because he lacked confidence in the kicking game.

On the secondary and creating turnovers:

Orgeron said the Tigers are a bit limited in what they can do at receiver.

He noted that next week will be a “tough week” of practice, and said LSU won’t spend much time celebrating the win over Chattanooga.

The Tigers head coach has liked what he’s seen so far from his quarterback.
