Ed Orgeron: The bad weather fired up LSU's players
LSU travelled to Knoxville and beat the Vols 30-10 in monsoon-like conditions Saturday night.
During halftime, the rain and wind set in on Neyland Stadium, and it created absolutely crazy conditions.
Nonetheless, the Tigers improved to 8-3 on the season and look to have a nine-win season in Ed Orgeron’s first year as the head coach.
LSU held Tennessee to just 38 rushing yards Saturday night, which is a great formula to win SEC games.
Here’s what Orgeron said after the game when he met with reporters:
Ed Orgeron, post-game: "Hard fought battle. Give coach Brady Hoke and staff .. they had those guys ready to play."#LSU
