LSU DE/LB Arden Key has had a very up and down season, as he’s had to deal with multiple injuries.

Recently, he had surgery on one of his pinky fingers and has yet to return to practice, so his status for LSU’s upcoming Citrus Bowl game against Notre Dame is up in the air.

On Tuesday, coach Ed Orgeron spoke with reporters and called Key “questionable,” confirming that the star pass rusher hasn’t practiced with the team yet:

It’s not looking good for Key’s bowl availability, but the star pass rusher was once considered a lock to be a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Will he hold himself out of the bowl game to prepare for an NFL career? He hasn’t made any final decisions yet, but LSU fans and Coach O will be watching closely.

In eight games this season, Key has 33 tackles (5.5 for a loss) and four sacks.
