The NFL Combine is now underway in Indianapolis, and that means the top college players heading to the 2020 NFL Draft will be under heavy scrutiny.

Even with that increased scrutiny, one player doesn’t have many flaws at all, according to former NFL head coach Brian Billick.

Now an NFL Network analyst, Billick said on Monday that Burrow checks all the boxes the NFL looks for in a quarterback (via 247Sports):

“It’s fascinating to watch what has happened with Joe Burrow,” Billick said on NFL Network. “Who has had a better year in his last year in college than Joe Burrow? He really threw LSU on his back and he checks all of the boxes.

“What he’s got going for him right now, he’s the front runner. He’s the lead dog. It’s like politics, everyone’s coming at you. Everyone’s got to pick away at him, the arm strength and things like that. But just like Tua (Tagovailoa), he checks all the boxes. This is as good as a one-two punch at quarterback that we’ve seen come out of college in a while.”

Burrow’s hand size raised some questions on Monday, but that likely won’t prevent him from going No. 1 overall.

What other questions will be asked of Burrow this week? We’ll find out as the NFL Combine continues.
