Four-star quarterback Feleipe Franks, one of the gems in LSU’s top-ranked recruiting class for 2016, announced his decommitment on Monday night after weeks of wavering:

Considered one of the nation’s top quarterbacks, Franks has visited Florida three consecutive weekends and the Gators are believed to be his leader. Florida State is also in the mix for the 6-foot-5 pro-style passer from Crawfordville, Florida.

Several recruiting insiders have reported that Franks is unsure about the future of the current LSU staff, specifically Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.
