The LSU Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs are just a day away from facing each other in the SEC Championship, and it’s easy to get the notion this one may not exactly be close.

Several analysts have weighed in ahead of the matchup, including Greg McElroy of ESPN.

“I don’t think this game is going to be super close,” he said. “I think Georgia is considerably better. I think LSU has been a terrific story and has been awesome to watch all season long. They’re so well-coached, they’ve done a great job both offensively and defensively… but Georgia, even though they haven’t been as elite offensively the past couple weeks, I’m still really optimistic… when they’ve had to have it, they have it.”

Needless to say, McElroy is going Georgia here, and it’s hard to see it playing out any other way.

The Bulldogs and Tigers are set to kick off at 3 p.m. CT for the title contest.
